Bring Your Thing - What's Your Story?

As part of the Kingston’s sesquicentennial celebrations, you are invited to bring any object you think relates to the theme “What’s Your Story?” Bring your favourite book, your go-to conversation piece or any item that inspires a story, then display that item and share. Learn the untold stories of Kingston’s heritage through the objects of others.The Kingston Association of Museums, Art Galleries and Historic sites (KAM), in partnership with the City of Kingston, as part of the series of pop-up museum events throughout 2017 will feature The next “Bring Your Thing” event at the Isabel Turner Branch of Kingston Frontenac Public Library, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2017. Local storytelling expert Selina Chiarelli will be sharing tips on how to tell the best story (http://selinachiarelli.com/) and Charly Chiarelli, veteran storyteller and actor, will share his personal tale.  See artifacts from local collections, including from the Marine Museum and the local histories and genealogy collection of Kingston Frontenac Public Library.Bring your thing and share your story!
