Built in 1846 to defend Kingston against an American attack, Murney Tower is currently operated by the Kingston Historical Society. Located just south of historic Macdonald's Park, Murney Tower Museum is happy to be participating in Doors Open as Kingston's Oldest Museum. Come see what life was like in 1846 as you walk through our three floors of exhibits.There are activities for the whole family with hands-on historic experiences such as trying on a costume or holding a cannon ball.
