The Archives of the Sisters of Providence of St. Vincent de Paul captures, preserves and documents the history of the only female religious congregation founded in Kingston. It holds records on the history of the Sisters of Providence in Kingston and on their missions and ministries across Canada and in Guatemala and Peru. The Archives also tells the story of the congregation from 1861 to present day through exhibits in the Heritage Room, a small museum, and in the Our Story section of our website www.providence.ca Visits to the Archives and tours of the Heritage Room are by appointment only.
